Wood:
Strength-1
Amnt. per day-50
Days for mill-5
Mine Upkeep-50 coins per day
Use: maybe use it to build small buildings and short barricades, but it's mostly for building things like arrows that aren't build for durability.
Stone:
Strength-2
Amnt. per day-25
Days for quarry-10
Mine Upkeep-100 coins per day
Use: It might seem identical to copper, but stone is very heavy and dense. This means that it is horrible troop armor, but is the basic building material for buildings meant to live.
Copper:
Strength-2
Amnt. per day-25
Days for mine-10
Mine Upkeep-100 coins per day
Use: Basic armor for troops and building material. This will be your standard metal until you get more powerful.
Tin:
Strength-1
Amnt. per day-25
Days for mine-10
Mine Upkeep-100 coins per day
Use: This stuff is useless on its on, but when you combine it with copper you will get 2 chucks of bronze, so fifty tin and copper will make 100 bronze. No project time, but once you make it you can't go back.
Bronze:
Strength-3
Amnt. per day- X
Days for mine- X
Mine Upkeep- X
Create: 1 tin+1 Copper=bronze
Use: The best metal you'll have for a while. It has high resistance and will beat out plain old copper any day. Made by combining copper with tin.
Iron:
Strength-4
Amnt. per day-20
Days for mine-20
Mine Upkeep-350
Use: Iron is a big step up from bronze. It'll protect the wearer from lesser weapons like they were butter knives; You'll need at least bronze to pierce it.
Coal:
Strenght-N/A
Amnt. per day-5
Days for mine-20
Mine Upkeep-200
Use: This stuff is powdery and will set on fire easily, but since it's so hard to mine you might want to reserve it for its purpose of making steal at a 4 iron-1 coal ratio. You get 4 steel per 4 iron, but the coal is used up.
Steel:
Strength-5
Amnt. per day- X
Days for mill-X
Upkeep cost-X
Create:4 iron+1 coal=4 steel
Use: This is where it becomes an arms race. Whoever gets steel first will dominate anyone without it. Even iron barely scratches it. However, the mines are expensive to run and painfully slow to produce, so you'll need a good lead to really make use of it.
Mithril:
Strength-7
Amnt. per day- X
Days for mill-
Upkeep cost-
Create:2 steel+4 iron+1 coal=2 Mithril Bars
Use:Protecting Elite troops. This metals way too hard to make and expensive to waste it on remedial troops. If you use this, whoever has it on won't be hurt, but it is REALLY hard to create, and not very cost effective.
Adamantite:
Strength-9
Amnt. per day- X
Days for mill- X
Upkeep cost- X
Create: 5 Mithril+10 steel+5 coal=3 adamantite bars
Use: Uber mega death machine armor. If you want something to survive a catapult to the face, coat it in this. Adamantite, despite the rediculous creation cost, will completely protect whatever it covers. Mithril will scratch it, but anything else won't make a mark.
